Rock, spin, swivel, scoot etc., with this versatile, vintage egg-like child's chair. Found some online video of the chairs in use...rather a contrived setting (!) but it gives you the idea. This one was made in the US under the name 'Tip n' Rok', but I believe it's a British design and have seen other ones with 'Selected for Design Center London'. This one has scratches on the bottom from use, but is in great shape.

This set of 4 from the Boling Chair Company, North Carolina have the original vinyl and at some point have been refinished with a white wash. The chairs are strong and sturdy with straight tapered legs and diagonal back supports. Not sure who designed for Boling at the time, but they are classic mid century.

I believe this is a 1960's USA made unit. It's mainly wood construction with a laminate veneer top. I'd say it isn't the highest quality, but it's a nice design and in good functional condition. It has a few cosmetic scuffs and scrapes, but elegant and a handy size.

Made by Laz-E-Rest in the 50's, this adjustable footstool (or 'leg rest') seems to be a superior design compared to the 'Pearl Wick' type...as this is 'infinitely' adjustable. Someone with a similar one said the original label reads; “wonderful relaxation for tired feet and legs. …….easy to operate. Just raise the cushion to the desired angle and let go – automatically locks itself. “ 
Very sturdy and the cheerful yellow vinyl/pleather/Naugahyde is in good shape/well padded.

Fantastically made of bamboo and kept in top condition, this Fick's Reed set comprises of 4 swivel/roll dining chairs pus a swiveling lounge chair (which is slightly lower and wider).

Some people respray the frames and 'update' the fabric, but this set is totally original and clean/unworn.

All covers are removable. Glass table has a 4' diameter. A comfy classic from the USA.

It is their 'Contemporary' model, upholstered in natural cream colored cotton and has machine washable cotton slip covers.
